^Black van showed up tonight. Can't believe it took this long for things to start to fall into place. Although I still don't know where that Oswald Danes guy fits in.

Best i can say is that it is allright but if you think about what we know so far how on earth has it taken this long to say it.

My feeling exactly. I stopped halfway through episode 6 and don't know if I really want to continue.

I caught a couple of eps on the TV over here and it looked "reasonable".

Watched all of the original Torcwood eps and while some weren't my favourites in general the show was so excellent ... that's a shame if this incarnation no good.

To me,this doesn't even feel like Torchwood. You take away the nobody dies thing and it could just be any other show out there. There's no sci-fi element to it.

It now feels like your standard TV cop show. Some big company has a big secret, and the good guys have to find out what. But a story like this simple is usually confined to one or two episodes, while here they're making it last a whole season.

Did anyone get why Gwen blew up that factory?
Didn't she destroy the evidence and everyone inside?
Or did they just want a great shot of a girl on a bike with explosions behind her?

This whole season is two members of Torchwood co-starring in a poorly scripted detective show. Too bad...

Yeah, that made no sense. Why blow up those ovens if there are people inside?

I am so sorry to hear this. I haven't got Starz and have been steering clear of this thread for a while. I have loved this show and been worried the US version would suck. I wish it just would have stayed in the UK. It was a bit over the top and that won't carry here the way it does there. Both countries will push the limits but I doubt TW would have gotten as far as it did in the US as it did in the UK. I so wanted this show to be great here. It's been one of my faves.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

No more category 1's were being transferred to the modules until 6:00 am. That means they had finished burning the last batch the previous night and they were empty.

Gwen blew up the ovens/modules to prevent any more people from dying. Saving the category 1'st that would have been transferred there in an hour's time took priority... not that there is any short supply of camps with module/ovens in other parts of the country/world.

The American team got video evidence of the California facility. Whether it will do any good or not, we'll have to wait and see.

Gee. You think this might not be the work of... ALIENS?!

Bill Pullman's been certainly doing a terrific job with such a difficult part to pull off. Love the girl from Six Feet Under as the Pharma rep is giving a pretty creepy vibe as well.

Not sure about aliens. Just going by what was shown this past Friday. Don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it yet.

Just when you think everything is falling into place, they have to go and muck things up again.

That's why I like the show so much; I absolutely can't guess what's gonna happen next. (But having watched all the seasons so far, I know only about half the cast is gonna make it out....)

I hope they keep John DeLancie. He was great. "Do you have Snoopy up your ***?" That might be as close to a Doctor Who/Star Trek cross-over as we'll get.

                                Hmmmm....

Dunno 'bout you guys; but when I saw the previews for this week all I could think was "Neuman!" (Which has been a running gag around here all season.)
