I guess they'll stop Barrowman from showing his naked butt too much on American TV...

Shouldn't have a problem with that. Starz is like HBO,they don't cut any of that stuff out.

          >What will this mean? Less British accents? Less tea and scones?

Pretty much. It's not too different. The American guy comes across as REALLY stereotypical American cop show cop though. (Although it's kinda funny, more than irritating.)

I thought he was pretty funny as well. To me it was kind of a British style send-up on kieffer Sutherland and the 24 thing. Particularly when Contrasted with Jack Harkness' more playful approach.

wonder why they'd put it on an obscure channel like that ?
Straz bought the show production right from BBC and Like Spartacus will use it as a way to sell subscriptions

Is the format the same ? ... meaning thirteen 1 hour episodes per season ?

Or has it been "Americanized" with more episodes per season ?

My guess is that it's 13. HBO,Starz and Showtime don't seem to have very long seasons.

I just read a report here in the UK that said the version we will see broacast on Thursday will be a longer version that the one seen in America.

Our's will run 60 minutes with no ad breaks, how long was the American one.?

It's an American pay channel ... They shouldn't have any commercials or cut anything out - no matter what the content is.

Watched this last night, thought it was quite good, not really watched much Torchwood but what i saw from whats coming up through the series,i will be watching this now.

I went to Cardiff Bay a few months back and saw the entrance to Torchwood,it was gated up and there are lots of pics up and a sort of shrine for Yanto.Lots of people there looking at all the messages pinned on the big gate, the silver fountain thing where they pop out the ground from looks cool also.

Never stand behind a cow when it sneezes.
