It is ok but so far a bit of a let down after Children of Earth.

Children of Earth was the biggest letdown

They took a decent 2 hour story and stretched it out to tedium.

No sorry, can't agree with that, i just watched the whole thing the other day and i really enjoyed it.

Other than Mekhi Phifer being absolutely horrible, it was a pretty good debut. I think they're going to tone down certain elements of the show for the American audiences, but I'm hoping this season can really get some of the goodness back.

I would rather ten "monster of the week" episodes than one big arc. It puts all the eggs i one basket. Psyched to have Captain Jack Bollocks and Gwen back, though.

Haven't seen the new story yet, but I'm a bit afraid of the "more American" idea.
What will this mean? Less British accents? Less tea and scones?
Why can't they just leave well enough alone?

No Starz upon Ours, so I guess I'll have to wait until somebody like Sci-fi or BBC America shows it in reruns.
