Good point about the zombie gunk poisoning the ground...they are all pretty careless about the splatter getting on & in them. For example, you would think the "fence cleaners" would have goggles or glasses to prevent splatter in their eyes, something I'm sure is readily available in the prison workshop area.
And I think it's the kids that were naming the zombies that are sneaking out to feed them at night, maybe how the kid got infected. It's probably in the water supply as you say too, they focused on that shower head quite closely at the end.

They don't have to worry about the walker's blood getting in their eyes or mouths, since the "walker virus" isn't transmitted. Remember, they're all infected as it is. Having said that, the rot of the zombies would have to pose other environmental and health problems as you guys are mentioning. I wouldn't be killing them along the fence-line simply because of the stench they must create!

And the kid that died coughed up whatever disease he died from into their shower water. But who knows what it is, or how it's transmitted. Regardless, there's a walker in the prison and everyone's asleep!

My understanding is they are burning the walkers once they "kill" them. Still the smell has to be bad from the burning, and just from the walkers themselves because they are deteriorating.

I found it odd about the gun that Rick found while digging, Walkers don't carry guns. Regarding the lady and Eddie, I assumed pretty quickly that Eddie was probably a walker given that lady's state of mind, and I'm glad I wasn't disappointed.

Wasn't Patrick the same one from last season that had asthma? He definitely was ill, but almost could be due to asthma, but he seemed to sure turn quickly. The Talking Dead said the actor that played Patrick is the voice of Phineas from Phineas and Ferb which I thought was cool.

Saw Sunday 's return episode, and it bored me to tears.

I got too spoiled watching the Breaking Bad marathon, lol.

I mean, is there anything else that's gonna happen in Walking Dead besides the same old hordes of zombies, over and over again?

It's beginning to sound like a broken record.

I'll keep watching, but I don't know for how much longer.

Now that would've ruled, and indeed had made the show fresh all over again...but I guess that doesn't happen in the comic books.

Maybe the new show will be city oriented, I'd like to see what happens in New York or LA. LA would be cool if they showed a celeb who turned.

There was a neat little parallel/foreshadowing between finding the gun while gardening and the sickness, both mean death can come from underground.

I would like to see a separate series based in Wash DC, showing how the government collapsed and what happed to high ranking officials and the predident.
