Man, you are really racking up a lot of movies, Thomas!! That Tales of Tommorrow is really cool with the drunken Lon Chaney Jr. Frankenstein. You can almost smell the cheap booze on him.

I just stopped at Half Price books. the 50 movies for $20 were marked down to $5 each. I got "Horror Classics" Carnival of souls , Metropolis, Killer Shrews, Night of the Living Dead, Lon Chaneys Hunchback ( thought that was lost)
"action classics" some Yul Brenner , Charles Bronson and Jack Palance

" Martial Arts" HAD to I think I see some BLACKSPOITATION KUNG FU in there ! " The Guy from Harlem", TNT Jackson, and Jive Turkey !!!

I want the movie poster for that last one!

Kung Fu and Blaxpoitation are two undervalued genres in my circle of movie fans.

LMK if you don't find it. I wonder what is going on with this WB clearance? Also seems to be a lot of MGM stuff.

Yep, I spotted one of those sets this week, but I already own all the Val Lewton movies so it got left behind. I also spotted a lone copy of "Son of Kong" recently. I would've picked it up, but I already have that one too.

Yes, and unfortunately it's not Mego scaled....
Lamenting the same thing last night, need to make 1/6th scale Mike. My amazin copy arrived last night and I think it's the best set yet, I love season 7 movies to bits.

Haven't watched them all yet; but "Santa Claus" is a new fave; and NEEDS to be a holiday tradition.
It is here, I'm excited to have a better copy than my VHS from 1995.

Funny thing: they interview the director of "Warrior of the Lost World," and he gives out his e-mail in case you want to send him comments about the film. Brave man. I'm sending him one tomorrow.

I actually really love that film (in a "Michael Sopkiw" kinda way) and the director's honest candor about it. I felt like emailing him too and giving him a thumbs up.
