Green being suspended for game 5, and Bogut injuring himself...is NOT (yeah, I can capitalize too, lol) cherry picking, those are facts...but you conveniently left out those two points.

    Anyway, ALL MOOT POINTS...

Warriors won the first...Cavs the second...

Let's see who wins the TIEBREAKER!!!

^^^ Damn! This is going to eclipse the NFL season! Loving it brotha!
Okay...bet time. If the Warriors win next year, I buy you a bottle of Cabo. If Cavs win you buy me a bottle of Sammy's Beach Bar Rum? How does that sound?

When, say, Malone left Utah for LA he wanted to go out with a championship so the people complaining about KD need to get a grip. Yes, Malone was retiring and KD is not, but that's how things are nowadays. Other examples were already cited.

I don't agree at all with ESPN commentator Stephen Smith belly aching about KD's move being the weakest move ever in history. Like Tom stated his move guarantees nothing. Sometimes players don't gel well.

I stand by my comment about KD leaving, it's been a talking point since the Finals were going on at my work. I mean, sure he could have stayed but the OKC organization--or any other team-- in a similar situation when a super star contact runs out--wouldn't be doing their job if they don't anticipate things like this happening, it's business. Of course teams like businesses sometimes get driven to the ground.

Spurs are old. Kudos to their organization for their loyalty to personnel. Coach Pop would have been replaced on other teams in as many years without a championship, sorry to say.

When are the Knicks going to matter again? Absolutely stunning how that has worked out before Phil Jackson or since. Will their new lineup change anything for the better?

Unless there are other pending shakeups, I suspect we'll see the same aforementioned NBA teams toward the final stretch: Spurs, Clippers, HOU, Heat, Hornets, POR, IND, ATL, etc.

Anyone know the latest on Dirk N of the MAVs?

Now that Durant is gone...Westbrook might bail next year as well, unless the Thunder trade him before he becomes unrestricted free agent next year...at least get something worthwhile in return...
man that team went from 48 minutes away from the finals to possibly a lottery team

the problem with that is atht you have to find a team he'll wanna play for, cause no team would trade their assets without knowing for sure he'll sign an extension...Maybe Miami would be a good fit, we give them Dragic who's a point guard and throw in Winslow and a pick I think it's a fair trade

He did what he felt he needed to do and I think it was in spite of genuinely liking Oklahoma City and the fans. He knows he's loved here and I'm sure that made the decision harder for him.

Now back to basketball. I have absolutely no ill-will towards him, but I certainly can't root for his success for obvious reasons. It will be interesting to see how this plays out because it is far from a given that OKC will suck or not be a contender without him.
I think he's pulling a Lebron, he'll win this year and head back to OKC

only teams who it would make a difference in would be San Antonio or Cleveland

Well, imagine how Seattle fans felt...when the Sonics left their town...and became the Thunder.

Seattle lost Durant first, then Oklahoma...now it's the Bay Area's turn to host Durant.
