I follow the NBA pretty closely but the money that is being thrown around these day. Guys are signing $70-80 million deals and I have to Google them to know who they are.

It's really the cap on the top players that is paying the lesser guys so much. The superstars are worth more than they can be paid and the players are required to get roughly 50% of revenue so somebody has to get it.

Yeah their players union gets the sweetest deal out there. I think the game is less enjoyable now but their global outreach is growing in popularity. Teach your kid to play basketball and hope he grows up to be 7ft tall. Would be my advise.

It's Cavs. This is all negotiation tactics with JR Smith. They want him to take around 10M, but his agents feel his market value is 15. At that price, they can't sign Allen or anyone else, as James is hovering at 35. LeBron wants to stack the Cavs with ex-Heat for instant playoff experience.

Looks like I'm going to be wrong about the Westbrook timing. He may be gone by training camp.

Reading more and more like OKC execs are blaming him for losing KD.

I'm highly disappointed with Green...something is wrong with that dude.

If he wasn't with the Warriors, I'd probably truly hate him...

...but damn, can't picture the Warriors being dominant without him...even with Durant.

It's amazing what the average fan misses what goes on behind the scenes, the word is that Durant didn't care for Westbrook much, and vice versa.

I think Durant had made up his mind about joining the Warriors way before his so called "that very morning I woke, I decided" fairy tale...he was set in leaving OKC for quite some time by then...

Green would be hard to root for, but I rooted for Albert Belle so I'm pretty sure I would.

I think it's safe to say his personal issues are extensive, but also well documented (on and off the court). It's pretty sad to see him carry the kinds of attitudes he does towards his peers and to believe he is somehow above it all to boot. Not exactly a quality one can trust to be a consistent leader where this team will desperately need it heading into next season after this historic loss on their backs yet still having all the expectations that off season trades are expected to give them towards another run for the title. Like I said, here it comes. They have allot to weather and Green isn't helping matters early on.
