The Jersey Shore now has an actual "situation". Keep the mobile phones charged and keep us informed.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Got a message saying most of our offices would be closed to tomorrow but then received a text from my boss saying where I work (the warehouse) would be open. I had already E-mailed saying I wouldn't be in due to the risk. Either the severity sunk in or there were many more like me as I received another text 20 minutes later saying he spoke with the Operations Manager and we should all stay home.

The schools in the area are closed Monday and Tuesday. Most of those were announced by dinner time. My company office is closed as well. Right now, I'm crossing my fingers that my husband will be off work as well.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

If it begins to get really bad and you think your power is going to go out, fill your bathtub(s) with water. Use that water to flush toilets.

Our local news station WBAL reported that the piers in Ocean City, MD have already been swept away and this storm still isn't at its worst for Maryland, yet. Wishing everyone safety through all this.
              It's all good!

Started raining here in Stroudsburg about 9:00

Now the winds are starting to pick up

Roads are covered with wet leaves (almost as slippery as snow)

Same here. Stay safe to those in it's path. They're saying it could become a category 2 hurricane now. Jeez. Just awful. My prayers are with you all.

I just can't get used to the name Sandy for a hurricane.

It's too delicate --- I keep thinking of Olivia Newton John in Grease

Streets are already starting to flood in Lebanon. I am sure my basement in the house I am selling will start flooding tomorrow, if not today. Fun times!
