I had one also. I sold it to to a production company in CA. right before the remake came out. I needed the funds to finisn my !970 SS CHEVELLE. I wish I would have sold the Chevelle. I will someday get another General !!

That's barely an article. Just because someone typed it doesn't make it journalism. It quotes one source and that source is quoting the un-named toy dude on a hobby website. None of these articles say "According to Warner Bros" or even "Warner Bros declined comment". Nobody is checking this thing out, they are just getting all riled up about this terrible PC world run amuck...I call BS.

I bought the car in 1993. It was a rusty beaten pos. i restored it in 1996. I replaced the floors, trunk, quarter panels etc. it is a numbers matching r/t with 440ci engine. In 2005 before the movie came out my wife gave me the green light to change it into the general lee for the movie premiere here in Omaha. I will probably keep i this way for a few more years then either sell it or restore back to original.

That's friggin' sweet, man...that one would be a keeper for me...no doubt.

I'm restoring a 64 1/2 Mustang coupe myself...not going too original though...it's going to be a little bit of a restomod.

Looking at your car jacsfc, for me the flag has nothing to do with it. It is just but one of the features that makes the General Lee one of the baddest ***** cars of all time. For me it's the General Lee and the 66 batmobile that hold the fondest of memories.
