That ref must be related to the umpire who cost Armando Galarraga a perfect game.
What is it with these idiot refs lately making such major mistakes that changes an entire games outcome?

Great comeback by USA. Slovenia definitely gets props for the way they played in 1st half.
I already mentioned in an earlier post that the U.S. seems to always get the short end of the stick on spotty calls. The bad call today wasn't even one of those calls that should have gone either way. That was a 3-2 legitimate U.S. win stolen from them.
No matter what happens, U.S. still hold it's own destiny. In theory, it would just be a 2-0 win against Algeria but we'll have to see how bad England beats up on Algeria today. If that game ends up in a draw (wishful thinking), it will make for an interesting 3rd round of games.

Your right, US should be able to get the 2 goal win it needs against Algeria. Even if England and Slovenia draw, the US would go through if they can win by at least 2 goals.
As much as I'm still fuming over that TERRIBLE call at the end of the match, the US should not have been in that position in the first place. They should have never given that player so much space for him to tee up for the first goal. I would also like to see the US players make some more effective runs when they posses just outside the box. I'm a little tired of these long balls that hope for our forwards to be a little faster.
I don't think England can get any worse but i may be proved wrong next wednesday.
No comment.............., I think England have out lived their hype at this moment.Being polish, I lived in the u.k for 26 years, now Poland for 13, so Im a supporter of both, and I compare my support to Poland and U.K, always high expectations, but always fail in the end emotions, but I always expect more from England, as them being a so called best world league, feel kinda down now.
England's Rooney is the most overrated high profile player in the tournament.
He's no Mesi, Kaka, C. Ronaldo...that's for sure.
The USA was ROBBED BIG TIME...what a bunch of bull****!!!
The USA can still advance to the second round...
It wont take much of a miracle - Lets assume England beats Algeria. That leaves Slovenia and England with 4 points and the US with 2.
The US will have to beat Algeria in the last match.
If Slovenia and England draws that would put all teams equal on points, and it would be down to goal difference. In this scenario the US would have to beat Algeria by 2 to be one goal better than Slovenia.
If Slovenia or England wins, the loser finishes 3rd.
Bloody hell...I hate when the referees take away the game from players.
People pay to see the players...not the referees...just like trigger happy ref who handed out yellow and red cards like crazy in the Germany/Serbia game...disgusting.
Slovenia dominated the first half, USA made a remarkable comeback in the second half and could've (should've) won the game. There was nothing wrong with that third goal, you guys definitely got robbed

But thats the beauty of football, just hope they dont bring in computer analysis, as support of a decision
