IF you are not striping the original paint first it may take several coats of white to cover the red on the body (this is a problem that S&H clones have when they are done wrong).
There are getting to be as many elenor 68 stang clones as S&H torino clones
have you considered a less "common" color say seafoam green or a realy vibrant one like Grabber blue?

I vote for the pewter/black . . . not much of a red-car type myself, and the pewter/black just seems less flashy and more not-to-be-messed-with.

Trust me Hector that color looks alot better on a fastback. Pewter and striped, you won't be sorry.
