Almost ready to paint my Mustang...but...

I need your opinion.

I have narrowed it down to two colors schemes.

One is the classic red with white stripes...ad the other is the Eleanor combo made famous in Gone in 60 Seconds...pewter gray with black stripes...









My car is a faded red...might be easier and cheaper to go with red with white stripes...but just give me your preference...not what's easier for me...



Also...what other colors you might like?

Burgundy with white stripes?

Black with yellow stripes?

No stripes?

Oh...and for some of you who need a reference...here's my ride:




I'm gonna get rid of those hood locks...have the body guy/painter weld the holes shut...I hate them...I never park the car in the street anyway...I cruise around...and take it straight back to my carport anyway...lol...

Wow, Hec... She is a beauty. I'd have to honestly say, that car is so gorgeous, It really won't matter what color you paint her. My own, personal choice; Pewter Gray/Black.

I gotta say out of the two you have listed I like the pewter gray with black stripes.

But I have a strong soft spot for the yellow with black stripes, but also that looks goes more with a fastback body style.

After my initial surprise of not seeing it purple with silver stripes, I must say I definitely prefer the grey combination...it somehow looks more classy.

SWEET ride Hec!! That's a tough call on the paint jobs...both look GREAT! Another favorite of mine is Black with red stripes.

I think your own car would look best in metallic midnight blue with white stripes.
