Looks like the pewter/black has more votes than the red/white.

I want to change the faded/scratched red metal interior to black...to match the rest of the black upholstery.

I could go with an all flat black look...but I think that only looks good on hot rods.

Add one more vote for pewter/black.

Without seeing the pictures, I would have said "Red/White" all the way, but that pewter/black is pretty tasty looking, Dude.

                Nice car. Nice lines.

Since you're asking... I'm with Renegade on this one. I always associate Red with the classic Mustang, and the white stripes would be a really nice update for your car. You really should consider the repaint of the interior. I think that you should keep it red. I'd even go back to a vintage steering wheel.

                  I'll consider it...

I removed the wood grain steering wheel and sold it to a guy in Australia...lol...

I liked the look...but I just didn't like the feel of wood when gripped and driven.

I prefer the current one...perhaps not in looks...but certainly I'm more comfortable driving with it.

If I go red/white...I'll keep the two-tone interior...but if I go pewter/black...the interior is going to be all black.

                    Understood...

But no...I'm not going to have the engine pulled out and paint the compartment...this is a driver...not a show car...and it will be much cheaper...

The only way I'd do it if a new engine was being placed.

How about burgundy with white stripes?

Or just plain burgundy with no stripes?

                      I kinda like burgundy.

I say the classic red with white stripes. However, in my opinion, either choice is pretty good.

This is how serious I am right now about painting the car...my saved money is almost there for the car paint...and the key is to stay away from buying Superman stuff right now.

It was extremely HARD to let this auction go...and it went for a GREAT price...but I had to let it go...
