I might be a nobody...but at least this nobody has not given Woods a single nickel out of his pocket...I'm very proud to say that Woods has not one single penny that used to be mine in his billion dollar piggy bank.

To all those that think this is a private matter and we should leave Woods alone: you're DEAD WRONG.
The guy damaged a fire hydrant. Unless he has a private fire hydrant at his place he did on a public road, he damaged public property, which makes it a matter for the police. Since they didn't arrest him I'll assume they didn't give him a breathalyzer.
You try damaging public property and then tell the cops to go F themselves (which is basically what Woods is doing here) and that you'll talk to them when you're good and reday to do so. They'll arrest you right there and then and give you a breathalyzer. And likely you'll end up in jail.
But Woods gets off easy because he's a celebrity, that is total and complete BS. Whatever law applies to me applies to him as well, he's not above the law.

Why should this dude get any free passes for destroying public property?

OK. Tiger f'd up obviously, but I need to respond to Hector's comments:
