For me it was"Dude where's my car". I totally hated that movie. Also the movie "Glitter". The wife wanted to see it so I lost 2 hours of my life that I can never get back. I actually think my I.Q. went down a bit after that crap.

Wes Craven's "People Under the Stairs"...when I was dating my future wife back in the early 90s we wasted a perfectly good Saturday night watching this crapfest on HBO.Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging! -
In the theater, the worst was probably "Revenge of the Nerds 2." At home, the "Toxic Avenger" (which was rented by my same buddy who dragged me to see Revenge of the Nerds 2")It's all good!Comment

I remember some friends dragging me to see VEGAS VACATION. I was stuck there because I didn't drive and for some crazy reason my friends liked it so they didn't want to leave. It was the only time I actually came close to falling asleep in the theatre, so I'll have to vote for that movie as my worst that I had to sit through.

Hmmm....
It's hard to say what's the "worst" because once I really despise a movie,
its pretty much "equally tortuous" to all the other movies I despise.
When I read stuff like what Underdog wrote..I think "wow...a Nerds sequel
and a cult classic...how bad could they be to be "the worst"???
To me "the worst" are movies I was just totally unconnected to in every way
and regret even having to deal with them for the brief moments I had to in
the first place!
What comes to mind...
DUNGEONS & DRAGONS (Only movie I ever walked out on)
THE ENGLISH PATIENT (Friend drug me to it)
PLUTO NASH, NORBIT (How'd Murphy get involved in these?)
I'm sure more will come to mind...but those are the ones that fit my criteria
that I can actually recall at the moment."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

but...
I can probably say I LOVED Vegas Vacation
----still---admittedly---I'm a huge VACATION fan in general---
I thought the VEGAS movie was pretty solid---even ASIDE from my fan-view
C'mon, Wallace Shawn's blackjack dealer ALONE is enough to reedeem
that movie from the dreaded "WORST" category."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. Funny bad, would have to be "Hercules In New York" starring a Very young, and totaaly dubbed Govenor Arnold Schwartzenegger. Fighting a guy in a bear suit. Tripping in one scene. . .and they are so cheap they even dub in the word "oops" as he trips.
Just BAD and made me cringe and want to walk out. . . .about 3 weeks ago - the scouts were given free double passes to go and see "Son of Rambow". I rang all the families in the group giving away these tickets - all these families came with kids aged 3, 6, 8, 10 years old. There was smoking, drug taking, shooting arrows at kids heads, kids getting burried under a building collapses. MAN. . . I was so embarrased and just wanted to hide. My 8 year old ended up towards the end at my feet between the seats because he was scared and generally just hating the movie. Some families did walk out. WHY - give the scouts/cubs/beavers(Joey scouts as we call em), these tickets. I was ANGRIER at the folks that rate movies. It was rated PG but really should have been rated M and we never would have taken the kids. UGGGGGG I was annoyed!!!!Last edited by AUSSIE-Rebooted-AMM; Sep 18, '08, 10:56 PM.Comment

Hmmm.... I'll go with the first 3 that come to mind. The have been many.
Dick Tracy- Nothing good to say about it. I freakin HATE Warren Beatty.
Phantom Menace - I know, I know, but it was the biggest disappointment of my life with respect to movies.
The Mummy - Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Decent actors with nothing to work with at all. Terrible, miserable writing."Steel-like jaws clacked away, each bite slashing flesh from my body - I used my knife and my hands, and when they were gone, my bloody stumps - and yet the turtles came."Comment

I admit, I loved the first VACATION film, thought the second one was so-so, loved CHRISTMAS VACATION, but I'm sorry, I hated VEGAS.Comment

Yes--I did---and I'm itching to retort...
... if someone despises S3 that much...
that it's their "worst" ---bless 'em---
they must have seen a lot less "bad movies" than I have!
I still consider it my duty to remind all Superman fans
that there is a fun, little movie out there
called SUPERMAN III that is crminally underrated...
My MM sig is my small way of keeping that reminder alive and constant!
"I can't have you with me...if you're not with me."

"Joe Vs. The Volcano" was one stinker a bunch of us saw in the theatre and I recall we actually walked out on it....since then though I've found some weird sort of appreciation for this movie over the years...and I'm not sure why exactly....must be a "brain cloud".Think OUTSIDE the Box!
