Hmmmm....
It's SO hard to pick one. I don't usually hate B-movies: they're cheap and cheezy, and that's how it's SUPPOSED to be. I hate when someone spends a zillion dollars on something that ends up being a B-Movie. Among the biggest offenders:
-Copola's Dracula: Pompous, pretentious, and then a eyeball floats by....
-The Matrix: A standard action film disguised as Taoist sci-fi.
-Terminator 2: I was rooting for the special effect, just 'cos them speeches Sarah Connor was making were really bugging me.
-War of the Worlds (new): So.... the son was RIGHT then?
-Godzilla (US version): So.... now 'Zilla's a giant hermaphrotic iguana? So a giant T-Rex wasn't WEIRD enough....?

I took the wife to see "Sex and the City." Never experienced a worse movie, or a longer one.Comment

whatever that weather disaster flick where new york was flash frozen day after tomorrow i think...
when dude out ran a cold front, that killed me... the wolves on a ship looking for food when there was perfectly dead bodies everywhere. oh and um..they were in a library burning papaer to keep warm where the's halls and halls of wood furniture..Looking for Infinite Heroes Robin and Catwoman

I too sat through that total stinker.
The worst was Ace Ventura 2 When nature calls. I likede Ace 1 but this was so bad I wanted to walk out but stayed because I was with a friend and didn't want to ruin it for him After the show he said he would have walked out but didn't want to ruin it for me.Comment

Nutty Professor 2- Completely Laughless and yet I remained in my seat.
The Matrix- I was the only one in the group who hated it.
The Phantom Menace- I checked out halfway through.

The Fifth Element - My God, that movie is awful. Bruce Willis seems castrated and/or asleep through the whole thing. And Chris Tucker...if I could have reached through the screen and choked him, I would have. He's annoying enough in a normal movie. Playing Prince-in-Space is even MORE annoying!
The Crow 2 was awful. I'd forgotten about that one.
I also agree on Ace Ventura 2. What a horrible sequel.
Smokey and the Bandit two is awful as well. How, I don't know. How can you screw that up? They somehow did.

Tim Burton's "Planet of the Apes" -- crappy on nearly every level, and on the only level it's not, simply a waste of the brilliant Rick Baker's work.
"Highlander 2" -- Most disappointing sequel ever, and that includes the second Star Wars trilogy.
"Death Proof" -- I think Tarantino's up there with Spike Lee on the overrated meter.
"Dougal" -- biggest waste of time I ever spent with my kids. Ever. If I ever met Kevin Smith or John Stewart or any of the other guys involved in making that waste of film, I'm asking them to personally reimburse me.Last edited by knight errant00; Sep 19, '08, 10:02 AM.Comment
