I rate movies by how they compared to what I expect out of them, so "Nerds 2", "Vegas Vacation", and other stupid movies I do not think of in the "Worst Movie" category.

"Rocky Horror", "Vacation", "Weird Science", and "Blazing Saddles" are actually as bad as some of the movies listed above, but they just became cult classics.

I consider a movie really bad when it doesn't live up to its hype, and most of these are action movies.

The movie(s) that is on top of my "Worst Movie" list would have to be "Die Hard 2 & 3". The newest one (4) was decent because of all the cyber-crimes.

"Clerks II" is on my list. I don't believe Smith made that trash!!!

Plus any movie with "Steven Segal" in it (except the one on the battleship)!!!

Some people say "Blair Witch" is one of the worst movies made. I think it was perfect. I love independent films to begin with.

The Mummy - Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Decent actors with nothing to work with at all. Terrible, miserable writing.
LOL! I agree with the Mummy one but Dick Tracy and Phantom menace are 2 of my favorite movies

I hated EVITA and Romeo & Juliet with Leo DeCaprio

I thought this was a great movie because it was better than I expected. I saw it at the theatre and watched several people walk out. If you had never studied Shakespeare in school, I can see how this would be a very stupid movie.

It was "Son of RamBow" About a neglected kid who wants to make a Rambo movie, but being a kid spells it "Rambow". I believe it was French/English (European), But the Posters and the tickets, showed a Humerous looking kid standing in a foresty area with a rambo outfit made out of things kids would make a costume out of. Made it look fun. . . and for kids. . . .bu it was C_R_A_P!!!!!!!!

Worst movie I saw in a theater was Summer Of Sam some years ago. For some reason my sister wanted to go (the reviews were really good as I remember) and got the Mother and Father to go to and I joined them. I think Spike Lee is an arrogant, overrated director in the first place and I wasn't excited to see the movie so I was going pretty much to be with the family.

Well, my sister and parents were unprepared for the suckitude that was this movie. They were also unprepared for the movie being a hard R and they were just pretty much appalled by the whole thing. And me, I had to get it off my chest right after the movie via an IMDB review:

"Spike lee has to be one of the most over rated directors I have ever seen. He is the critic's darling because he supposedly makes films with a "message" or he is just so bohemian in his approach that it makes critics that are waterlogged from formula Hollywood films eat his stuff up just for being different.

Summer Of Sam does not even do that well. The cinematography and editing style is Oliver Stone, and so is the narrative. The plot is a lot like "Do The Right thing". The portrayal of "Guidos" or for the PC set Italian-Americans (of which I happen to be one) is straight out of Eddie Murphy's Raw. Only Eddie Murphy's impression of a macho Italian guy picking a fight with a much taller African-American is much, MUCH more believable than the cartoonish, broad Italian caricatures shown here (the John Leguizamo character being a possible exception).

Is there anybody who saw this movie that could not figure out how it was going to end up? As soon as Richie came into the film I could already see the fist in his face and the foot in his stomach, I could already see him being accused of being the killer. This character had the most integrity in the whole film so, of course, Lee is going to show what happens to people that stand out in a crowd (what a white bearded clique!)

Someone please, please give Spike Lee a lifetime pass to all the Basketball games he wants. So, maybe he will be enjoying himself too much to pick up a film camera for a long time and we won't have to be subjected to his self important drivel and furthermore I won't have to see critics (some of them whom I respect) ohhhh and ahhhh to an Emperor with no clothes."
