I will take back "Die Hard 3" because Sam L Jackson made it alittle better. Do you know it wasn't even supposed to be a Die Hard movie and they changed it to be a sequel? I think the screenplay was called "Simon Says".

As for "Clerks II", after all the great stuff Smith put out, he sells himself out. "Jay & Silent Bob" movie was bad, but it lived upto what I was expecting, so it is a decent movie.

        Oh...and Blair Witch blows...sorry...lol.
Some movies like BLAIR WITCH I literally watched a few seconds and
gave up and forgot about 'em. Wow...I was not into that.

The DIE HARD series is "tops" for me...especially the original.

Sometimes I wander around asking people where my detanators are
---that's how giddy John McClaine (and Hans) get me.

        Seagal seems pretty forgettable.

Personally I've found Kevin Smith to be overrated...but..he is possibly
the best public speaker I have ever seen...and I bought
some of his DVDs because of that.

Was supposed to be a DIE HARD sequel.
"Die Hard with a Vengence" (3) was not supposed to be a Die Hard sequel.

                      Script & setting

This movie is based on a script written by Jonathan Hensleigh originally titled Simon Says, which was originally conceived as a Brandon Lee action film, then later considered for use as the fourth installment of the Lethal Weapon series. The first half of Die Hard with a Vengeance is almost identical to Simon Says; the robbery was added to bring the story in line with other Die Hard films. The original plan was to have the villains burgle the Metropolitan Museum of Art, an idea not used here, but which appears in John McTiernan's film The Thomas Crown Affair and also the video game Die Hard: Vendetta.

                          I vaguely remember that moment.

For some reason my memory of it has "VCR Pause Blur" in it.

Hated it when I saw it for the first time, tried again a couple of years later and hated it even more
