I really did enjoy the dynamic Grant Morrison gave the "Jr JLA" of Kyle Rayner, Wally West and Conner Hawke during his run. In some ways it does reflect real life that you are "the new guy" until the next new guy comes along and it would make sense that there would be some bonding amongst the guys that can relate to being "the new guy", particularly when there is some living up to a legacy going on as well among the younger members.

The only interesting thing he's done with the Superman cast is focus on Jimmy Olsen and returned him to his 70s Kirby era roots when he was known as Mr. Action.....
I don't read Robinson on Superman..., so I don't have any info really on the books not being so good.

I like Cry for Justice so far way better than THAT misguided Ross Justice over hyped Nonsense. Outside of Ross' fantastic Art Pieces,.. I disliked that story. & Ofcourse the re-vamped JLA Book is just Horrible.

Ross' "Justice" is just a bunch of pretty pictures....the book got waaay to big in scope IMO without a good scripter to back up the artwork.

The JLA book has suffered immensely since the re-launch....1st scripter Brad Meltzer dragged out his mediocre plots far too long....Vixen, Red Arrow and Red Tornado were constantly pushed to the forefront. Then Dwayne McDuffie comes aboard and continues some of Meltzer's junk all the while having his hands tied by editorial mandate on who he could and couldn't use. Meanwhile, the JLA franchise crumbles in the process. I've said it before and I'll say it again....JLA should NOT have the same continuing cast month after month with these soap opera sub-plots....Just tell a good freakin' story and pick the members who serve that particular story. If you need the Atom this month, fine use him. If it has to be Firestorm and Hawkman next month, fine use them.

^^^ You Know, Robinson's 1st issue of Blackest Night Superman was very, very good too imo.

Yeah I picked that up....I dunno, maybe it's the editors on the Supes family of titles but Robinson's work on those is lackluster...the Blackest Night mini may be different, I didn't check the credits....but it was a good read. In fact all of the Blackest Night minis are better than I expected, considering they're not written by Geoff Johns. Sometimes the concept suffers when it's farmed out to other writers.

              ^^^ I agree.
The Spin Off's are all pretty damn good,.. atleast so far with the 1st issues of them. Better than any other spin off's I can remember in recent times. The Battle for the Cowl Spin off's were all for the most part pretty Horrible. They also really went outta there way's as far as to get some Damn credible teams for the Blackest Night Stuff too. Benes Drawing the Titan's book was a Complete shock to me..., I thought him doing a book like that,.. after being Mr. JLA For the last few yrs ,.. I just thought No Way !!! , when I read it. The Titan's book so far is My Fav,.. with the 1st issues.

The Superman Book is very interesting..., Superman is going to go All out with his Powers to Beat Up Earth 2...., It should be great.

I really liked the couple of Spin Off's to the Whole Identity Crisis Nonsense too ... Villians United,.. & the Rann/Thungarian War Crap. Good stuff,.. been following Reis ever since. I love that guy's work.
