    Frank Miller and McFarlane.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I think it's what I was saying about the artists I don't care for: there's very little development or experimentation, so after a few issues you've seen everything they're ever gonna do. Even if they TRY something different, it's not different.

Most if not all of the guys that came out of the Image explosion seem to be stuck in this rut. Erik Larsen seems to have been getting more cartoon-y with his style, he might be the only exception.

Yeah. And then they took everyone else with them. I've always felt that Image wrecked comics in the 90's. 'Course it wasn't their fault. They made a lot of money in a hurry; so EVERYBODY wanted to make a lot of money, so EVERYBODY copied them.

            >especially Marvel.

It was worst than that.... I thought it was horrible how a lot of the independants; many who'd never done superheroes at all, were throwing over their old stories for Image rips.
