    Never cared for their work......
Substitute Vince Coletta for Pat Broderick and you have my list I also have to add Steve Ditko to this list with a qualifier: Ditko's work on the early Spider-Man and Dr. Strange stories was awesome stuff, but Marvel tended to put him on books he was completely unsuited for in the 70's and 80's. I remember loathing his artwork on the Micronauts Annuals. I also hated it when Michael Golden left the Micronauts and was replaced by Howard Chaykin. It just ruined that book for me for awhile.

Humberto Ramos & his "bigfoot" versions of SpiderMan & Wolverine

Anybody they have at Bluewater comics- simply atrocious "graffiti" look art on books that would otherwise be great concepts.

Ok I'll throw Todd McFarlane under the Bus too....seriously outside of doing a different take on Spidey.....Todd's work was bad and ugly. His layouts were different. But his anatomy was atrocious and he over inked everything.

Ditko Lost it towards the end his work got ugly. I despised Colleta's inking over Kirby's work.

                  Hmmmm....

I don't think I HATE any; but there are a few I felt were shoved down my throat by being hyped undeservedly:

                  -John Byrne
                  -Rob Liefield
                  -Jim Lee
                  -Frank Miller

They all had their schtick; and for the most point it was okay, but none of these guys had any real versatility. Their designs were all the same, their layouts were always the same, and their subject matter was pretty much the same. (Even when they tried something different.)

                  >Todd's work was bad and ugly. His layouts were different. But his anatomy was atrocious and he over inked everything.

What saved his stuff for me was that he had more than one character design. He was willing to go cartoony every so often.

Can't stand Frank Miller in any capacity.

McFarlane kind of makes me laugh, he's wildly overrated but i love how he scowls for pictures, yeah, you're a real badass. His father was interviewed a few years ago and kept calling him "Toddy".

LOVED Kirby as a kid, the first comic artist I was aware of as a kid. As a result I find "Kirby Esque" women attractive, that doesn't make my wife happy..

How interesting. I too, hated Kirby with a passion as a kid (except Kamandi, for some reason. That didn't seem to bother me as much) but appreciate his style now.
                      As for artists I despise?:

Ted McKeever! I won't even consider buying a book if that guy has anything to do with it! Chicken scratch!!

Eric Canete. That guy nearly single-handedly ruined my Superman collection by making me actually want to throw out an issue (I believe it was actually Action Comics but that's besides the point). Terrible, terrible art. I hope they never let that hack near Superman again!

Also can't stand how kelley Jones' version of Deadman became the norm. How does a ghost skeletonize anyway???? STUPID!

I wouldnt say hate....but there are a few artists whose work bugs me. Liefeld's been covered. For a guy who copied, swiped, or traced almost everything he ever did, he still couldnt hide his own "art style issues".

Pat Boyett. I know the guy is considered a major talent of the late golden and silver ages, but --with the exception of his Phantom stuff--his facial renderings just distract me from the story.

Erik Larsen. His style definately improved over the years, but I still blame his art for killing all interest I had in the Doom Patrol series from the eighties/early nineties.

Here's one under the "hated as a kid" catagory.

                              Curt Swan

I'm still not a big fan, but his early Superman & Action covers are really very good and he was a terrific storyteller.
