I got used to Sideshow's megathread, as I am a creature of habit. The original President of the Assembly sucks and I don't want to look at him. He's buried somewhere among my Mego parts. I didn't realize this thread's been running for so long. I guess that's how long I've been sculpting.

I powered through this sculpt today. Gosh I am tired. I'll probably work on him some more tomorrow.

A thread that's been running nearly two years and I think it's lost it's way... Whatever happened to the President of the Assembly sculpt on which this thread was originally based?

    Thanks Thomas.

Damn. Mannequin is already holding up four pounds of clay and I need more. Gotta make a clay run.

My plan is to sculpt it, mold it, and pour latex. Maybe. I've been churning ideas in my head. I must do this by Halloween.

Hmmm, Halloween is in 8 weeks... if anyone can do it, it's you. And I have no doubt you'll not only finish it in time, but it'll be the best Turtle head ever made

Does he look Urko-like? I'm going to try to smooth out the roughness.

Not yet. I think I tried, but I didn't want to waste my Super Sculpey, so I started all over. Besides, my positive was not ready yet--I only had the vacuformed face to work on. I made an Ultracal 30 positive to work off of a few weeks ago.
