Ya gotta pop the fins out of their mooring holes, but I wouldn't as I dunno how they're anchored and you risk snapping a peg. It's not designed to have a consumer removable suit. That Mego Superheroes had easily removable suits is more a function of design than play value. While a number of their early lines advertised changeable clothing, the heroes and villains never had any clothing accessories, nor did most of their other 8 inch figures. The Tin Man is the Tin Man, but being able to use the same buck over and over allowed Mego to reach the economy of scale which made them profitable for a time. That all said, if you do strip it, please post some pics.

I totally understand. I play with my figures too, even have 5-6 that i take with me when i go on vaction. I just never considered removing the clothes as a function that I thought was important. But, if that brings you pleasure, that is all that matters. These are meant to be played with and enjoyed and on that we both agree! Do you have the whole set or just Bride and Creech? I am stll kicking myself for not snagging the Jack Peirce.

I got Creature and Bride today for $17.99 each at an entertainment store. All they had. Creech is incredible my fave of the line and Bride is perfect to! Did Creech have plastic chest piece from the start? This takes me back to 1976 Halloween when I was 6 and my mom and maternal grandmom bought the entire AHI Universal Monsters 8" figures Series 3 for me from Medic Pharmacy! And in 1999 when I found Sideshow Universal Monsters 8"Series 2 with Creature and Bride and Phantom for $10 each at Walmart at Halloween! Nothing like getting Monster figures at Halloween! Cannot wait for series 4!
