Bought the Creature yesterday, and boy, what a cool figure. They really outdid themselves on this one!

Got my creature from a dealer at Monsterpalooza. He and the Mummy took over the local diner in Burbank on Saturday. The creature blows all the other figures out of the water. He is amazing!!

Yeah this is a great sculpt. Pretty much my favorite mass produced monster in a long time.

Ever since the recent "Haunt Kraft Incident of 2012" monsters [blame Halloween!] are once again welcome in Ape City.

The Creature is so good that the whole set had to be secured this week, and am already lookin' forward to Phantom/Metaluna release. Wow, these are monsters done right!

I have Drac, mummy, the Creech, and the Bride all on layway hold for me at TRU. They had just put out the creature and the bride when I was going in there to put a payment down on my other 2 monsters at my local TRU, So I grabbed these 2 up as well and put them on hold too, couldn't resist.

Glad to see it worked in production. These figures will sell out fast. Get them now or pay
    more later.
Sean really has been doing a great job on all his sculpts. Pat him on the back for us.

As I mentioned in one of my previous posts about the silk screening, yes, I have seen some differences in the color (I posted a pic if you're curious) but something else that crept in got noticed yesterday....my kid has unpackaged his and posted pics here too. From mere handling the figure, doing poses for photos, the silk screening is coming off. You can take your thumb and rub over the knee and it comes off, like the stuff is crusty and brittle. Kinda weird. I only say this cuz you like to know this stuff and this probably is a random thing.

After having a chance to look at him I see the fins are not part of the limbs with the suit laying around them. They are inserted through the material into the body. I think doing it that way keeps the suit from shifting or puckering around the fins.

I received my Creature and Bride from BBTS this week and they are both great figures. The Creature is without a doubt the cream of the crop of this line so far. On a side note, I stopped by a local TRU today with the thought of picking up another Creature; unfortunately, like everything else I've ever seen there, the packaging looked like it had been tossed about by a group of wild chimpanzees. The packages were all dinged and scratched, and it looked like they had been shaken violently because there were green streaks of paint from the Creature's breast plate all over the inside of the bubble. It's not like these are bargain basement figures; you'd think they could handle them with a little more care.

We traveled up to Florence today from Louisville and the one lone TRU store up there had one of each! Nabbed me the Creature and will collect up the Bride in short order. I've got to say, without exception, this is easily the best Creature figure ever made. The design is smart. The sculpt is exquisite. The paints compliment the sculpt. And the outfit is what I only could have dreamt of as a kid. It's the epitome of perfection for this character. Close the doors and turn out the lights. No figure will trump this in the eight inch format ever again. It's stellar. Like so many others, I've just stared at it in awe of it's beauty. Even my wife said, "Let me see that." After looking it over and checking out the fins on the back and the head, she says, "Now that is a cool piece. Let me guess. You need more than one? " Well h*ll yes! I'm thinking four right now... A beautiful piece folks. Do NOT let this pass you by. Well done Paul and company. Home freakin' run.

Saw a couple of these at Chiller Theater today - I'm noticing some suit color variations between Creatures. Some are a darker green that matches the plastic parts to a T, some are noticeably lighter. All look terrific, however!

Could the Creature be EMCE's answer to multiple Spider-Man suit variants?

I picked up another Creature tonight at Toys R Us. I normally don't buy extras to open but I couldn't resist with this one.
