I saw on Entertainment Earth's website that Sutekh, Leela, Scaroth and the Morbius Monster are now listed as being out in July! :( That's 4 months after they were first scheduled. Is EE reliable date wise?
EDIT: Just confirmed it with BBP on twitter. Sounds like unavoidable delays. They hope to launch them at SDCC now. Which is a bit crazy the way things worked out as it'll mean almost a year between releases. Hopefully they'll make up some time with future figures.Last edited by jonwes; Feb 14, '12, 12:54 AM.Comment

Well, that news makes me breathe easier and worries me. Breathe easier because one site said the Leela figures sey would come out now, worries me because the other figures fromBBP all come out in july as well."Hang on Lady... Factory issues has caused the delay. Don't worry, we promise there won't be another year between this wave and the next waves.

Finally got the cyberleader today, took a while since it wasn't available in Canada. I know it was an exclusive but it seems readily available in the States. The figure looks good from the front but if you look at it from the side the head is way too thin, also the head in general is too small, he also has baggy trousers. I also took another look at the Doctor, it looks like the head sculpt is the same as Raan from space 1999 with hair sculpted over it. The doctor's head is too big and so are most of the space 1999 heads that I believe the head was borrowed from. Raan is Played by Peter Cushing and the head sculpt is cast in gold on this figure. I haven't any proof of this, but you can compare yourself, I will be ordering a Raan head soon and will sculpt hair on it and see what happensForgot to mention that the cyberleader's chest piece is glued on and there is alot of extra glue visible
But other than that, you like it?Comment

I don't really see the resemblance. The Who figure looks like Tom Baker. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

You can see the differences. Both heads do have a dour grimace-similar expression but I think that's as far as it goes. Since the Rann head is based on Peter Cushing what a great base it would make for the Movie Doctor he played!Comment

That "dour grimace" expression is the only thing I don't like about Tom Baker's Doctor Who figure. I always remembered him with a big smile and wide opened eyes.Comment

The 4th doctor looks great. The 1st doctor that they had on display at the toy fair looks good too. I'm wondering how far their agreement stretches. Will they be able to do all 11 doctors eventually? I'd love to have the whole set if that's the case. If it stops early on though, it would be pretty disappointing.

I just got my Cyberman. I think he's terrific, though I do have to admit that the head seems a little small, making the "fit" between head and body not a perfect match. When you look at where the lower circular part of the headpiece is to join the costume, there's a gap, and the head seems "plugged in" a little too high up.
Other than that, I love him. This new DW line does have some small issues to be ironed out (like Tom's hat), but it's just step one.
I'm in this for the long run....
