What about getting the repro Mego emblem for Batman? That's what I may do.

I think these are going to sell out quickly!! There are many people who aren't debbie downers and are looking forward to being able to get ahold of this wave! Awesome job on the RA's and thanks Matty for keeping it going and taking a chance on these!

Too little too late Matty. I already bought waves 2,3, and 4 from BBTS since they were never in TRU after wave 1.

I sincerely hope more new DC Retro Action Heroes will be made, but I'm not paying Mattel's inflated shipping to get extras of ones I already have.

    No thanks.

I was personally thinking, as someone had mentioned that superman and batman would of been the big sellers in this toy line at retail. So maybe they are testing the waters offering the big hitters to see how they sell online(rather than the green lantern series), and maybe thinking of producing the rest?

I have them all, so no interest in multiples just to send a message to Mattel that will fall on deaf ears.

No problem. I mean if you'd rather pay 20 dollars plus 7 in shipping from one Mattel site rather than 5 bucks for the figure plus 5 in shipping from another Mattel site, that's cool.

There has been no official word from Mattel that the line has truely been cancelled. The last official word was from Toyguru saying that the continuation of Retro Action would depend on how well Kyle sold. Also, Paul from EMCE has told us here on the forum that they are trying to work something out. Well, Kyle sold out and now Mattel is actually offering more Retro Action on Matty even though they are not new characters. I say we sell these out ( old stock or not ) and show Mattel there's still demand for this line. Then, if Mattel still officially cancels the line after all this, for those of you that want to say you told us so you can and shame on Mattel and Toyguru for lying to us.

Will Superman & Batman be overstock or new production runs?
The line's been canceled, so its leftovers.

If these were leftover stock I would think Superman and Batman would be the last two characters that would be leftover. It's my guess those were the two that sold the best and the quickest. Who knows, If these are new production runs it`s sure a good sign Mattel might give Retro Action another chance. Let's buy them all and show them we want more.

    Mattycollector

I would certainly buy a new Batman and Superman if the bodies were able to stand straight. I hope these sell well and show Mattel that there is a market for future waves. If the collectors are able to get to the product, they will purchase them. Mattycollector might be the perfect venue for Retro-Action. I am keeping my Figures crossed and I hope Dr. Mego is secretly getting ready the next wave of heros for Toyfair 2012.
