    I like your opinion, sir!

I just got Exclusive Premiere's Lone Ranger set, and although the Lone Ranger looks fine, Tonto's head (although an excellent likeness of Jay Silverheels) is far too small. It's so small, it ruins an otherwise nice figure, honestly.

Does anyone know *if* a very, very brief acetone dip would shrink the head the %5 it needs and remove the paint so it can be re-painted to look like the other Mego Trek figures? Or would it shrink too much?

            Acetone blues

It should blow the head up first to 1:6-ish scale, after first removing
most of the paint, but if the vinyl is uneven in thickness, it may
distort the head as it shrinks it.

I shrunk a Playmates Kirk head many years ago, and one side
of his head deformed in shrinking.

Is the Pike head squishy or firm?

I ask because it has a disturbing resemblance to the CTVT heads, which are super squishy and prone to tearing.

Was there a reason for switching the way the heads were produced, going from flesh-colored plastic to painted over?

Is the Salt Vampire head completely painted as well or is it green/grey vinyl?

When will we know if Vina and Chapel have been green lit for production? Judging by comments from newforce on them and diamond selling out, I'd say Pike and The Salt Vampire have done well?

I saw these today at my local comic shop and almost bought them but my love for the line died once I heard Vina and Chapel were on hold. The "buy these figures or the next ones dont get made" blackmail has the reverse effect on me.

Once I know for sure that Vina and Chapel are coming, I'll buy these two and a few more of the older army builder types like the Romulans, Klingons and Andorians.

The Salt Vampire does look great though and I'll probably end up getting it at some point anyway.

Yeah, that was hilarious. This one is pretty good, too:

And by the way, I liked the tunic on the prototype Pike, as shown at Toy Fair, better than the final version. The prototype tunic had a futuristic sheen to the material.

Went back to my comic shop and they had sold out of their Pike and Salt Vampires (last time I was there, they had at least 6 on the shelves). They seem to be doing pretty well!

Now might be a good time to start production on those lovely ladies? I know its not that simple but I want them ASAP.

Got these a few days ago, and good work as usual. Here's hoping the line continues.
