I dropped Pike's head in acetone and will post pictures here as soon as
I can get the camera from the office to a computer with ftp software.

The color of the vinyl is a very light, almost translucent flesh. Now I
understand why the factory painted the heads. Pike would look more
like Jesus otherwise.

I did exactly the same Paul,..and it is a translucent Flesh,...What dye product can be used or you recommend to make his head more compatible to the other Mego/EMCE figures flesh hue? (heres a pic of mine...the head borrowed is from the Playmates line and size is just perfect,..just while i repaint the other head....) click on image for closer look (as I forgot how to blow up images)!!
