Won't save the retro line but maybe Mattel could be convinced to release the last few figures that were already in the works.

I wouldn't say lost cause Doc. 21 new dc retro figures, including 16 characters that previously did not exist in this format is an incredible accomplishment. I don't think anyone here dared dream that it would ever happen let alone go this far. particularly since it did go into mass market retail as opposed to just the collectors market via comic shops.

you had said at one point that Mattel had a commitment of 24 characters over 3 years. 21 characters released in just over a year isn't too far off that mark.

how many action figure lines get this far in this day and age? mego themselves only did 18 dc characters back in the day.

Seriously, I was a little disapointed she's a straight up porn star, If she were just a sexy Cos Player who likes toys that would have been great! I mean who couldn't lovey a sexy toy nerd... alas being a hardcore porn star, kind of takes her out of the everyday/mainstream arena (IMHO)... For me it's "Kids and Toys"... "Porn and Toys"? er... not so much... I don't like the sterotype it conjurs up.

Not to be negative, but the fact she's a porn star actually hurts not helps if anything. I've been involved with website promotion for regular models for a number of years and can you tell if anyone even smells porn they run like the plague. Taking that into account, I can only imagine how a mainsteam compay would react.
