But seriously, all jokes aside... does this really help? It's obviously a financial decision that Matell is making, not an emotional one. We are the emotionally vested party here... I know it's a ploy to get more attention to the cause, and I get that, but will it help?

Yeah I think its a lost cause too, but still perhaps the backhanded input may help Mattel (and other companies) observe what had happened and how to fix the mistakes made in marketing, distribution, even speculation.

And honestly considering the low numbers of those that have signed the petition so far, I think Mattel will clearly be seen as justified in their statement that there simply isn't enough interest in 8 inch super hero retro styled action figures.

But still taking a stand is fun.
