Pretty. Interesting that Kyle is one of the four exclusives. I am okay with that as I really like the mix of characters we are getting. -

I'm thinking the Guy Gardner card art is Dave Gibbons? Probably from GL Corps?
I seem to recall that Gibbons was also the artist on the title when John Stewart took over for Hal, the card art is definitely not Joe Staton's style. Who else drew the Masked John Stewart... George Perez? It must be from an interior drawing because it doesn't appear to be on any of the covers.

Wally suffered from the same thing when he first became Flash, until Kyle came along. They even wrote that into the interactions between the characters, particularly when Conner Hawke joined the Justice League and the three of them became representative of the younger generation on the team.
I always enjoyed their dynamics together.

I'm looking forward to all of these. I'll definitely move Alan Scott up on my 'to-do' list.Leave a comment:

I like Kyle a little better now that Hal's back. Until that happened, Kyle hung around 10 years and never seemed to get past the "Hi, I'm the new guy" sensibility. It was like in the comics, he was the eternal rookie.Leave a comment:

I can already hear the complaints that Kyle isn't "retro" enough and people asking "who is this guy"

So that's the infamous Kyle you've all been talking about. I've never read his comics but I have seen his image before. He should look pretty cool in Mego form.Leave a comment:

Cool. Kyle is the only prototype we haven't seen yet. Can't wait to order John in February.Leave a comment:

This link takes you to a retro mattel card that pictures Kyle Raynor along with John Stewart, yellow Sinestro and Guy Gardner as Matty exclusives. Pretty cool. Actionfigureinsider.com storyLast edited by madmarva; Jan 23, '11, 10:57 PM.Tags: None
