Seriously though...when's the last time you saw a licensed figure of this size and detail go for anything under a MRSP of $19.99? To even think they would be priced between $9.99-$12.99 is pretty much crazy talk. I'd love it - you'd love it but really...is it even fathomable? And to be honest - even at those low prices - it's not my kids that would be pining for them - they'd still be for my personal collection. Mattel isn't stupid - they know this - & they're gonna make us pay for what we want.
The Walmart AT joes. Very cool, flocked and great boxes..Comment

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

Jakks wrestling figures. 7 inch scale, many more unique parts, paint aps, more articulation, real scan technology head scans, licensed as well, also came with accessories and many figures had cloth clothing as well. In fact, they're still doing it with TNA and UFC figures. In addition, in the case of their legends lines, they have to individually pay the wrestler a fee. Highest priced regular Jakks figure... $12.99Comment

I think sometimes people get sucked into the "rapture" of wanting something so bad (myself included) they are clouded from other factors like price. Use your wits, these should not be priced more than $12 or $13 a piece. Look around. Common sense.Comment

And in terms of companies, Spectre and Bif Bang Pow don't have much by the way of overhead. Bif Bang Pow's offices are whatever is provided in the two principles day jobs.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

^There is no way these will be listed at that price when 6.5" DCUC figs are $15 and JLU Animateds are $9. (All somewhat over-priced, admittedly, and in wider distribution than Retro-Action.)
I think we're paying for a licensed niche collectible with new tooling--the concern IMO is the quality, not the price.
Comparably, DC Direct figs are about $17-$20, exclusive, smaller, less poseable, & fragile.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

My wits and common sense tell me that every EMCE Diamond release hasn't scraped below $15-16, I don't know why you'd think a premium licensed figure produced by a multi national corporation in similiar numbers should somehow be less.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

Most of us think that is pretty expensive for smaller figures too, but comparatively to the Retro Line, isn't it about proportional value for a figure that is three to four times the size of the 3 3/4" figure?
You're willing to pay 8 bucks for a 3 3/4" figure for your son. Why not $20 for a figure that is that much larger?Comment
