Hmmmm....
I wonder if they'd do mini-vehicles.... like the whirly-bat. I bet yes; but only after a couple years of sales. It'd STILL be $30+.

I'd get behind a Retro-Batmobile. Although with the era the figures are referencing (specifically the packaging) I'd say it will be more like the 1978 Batmobile, or it's analog from the Super Powers line.

All the more the reason these need to be available at Walmart, Target, Kmart, the local grocery store, ETC...

The only real vehicle I can see coming out would be the Batmobile. And to justify it, I'd package it with Robin.Leave a comment:

Historically you sell fewer vehicles/playsets than figures so in order to justify the
expense of making a vehicle, you wait until there are many figures in the market.Leave a comment:

>I'm sure Matty could put out a similar quality or slightly less paint op/detailed vehicle for $30 without breaking much sweat.
I'm wondering about the volume though. I'd bet the Bratz figures sold ten times as well as the retro heroes; plus they had a long time to build brand loyalty.... An affordable Batmobile is probably a few years away yet.

BINGO! Mattel said EXACTLY what I have been thinking - "RETAILER SUPPORT." I don't see any expansion of this line unless other outlets like Walmart and Target pick these up. They have to lower the cost of those figures to justify putting out vehicles and play sets. I mean come on. If a figure is $20.00, what would the vehicle be? $50.00? Not practical for pricing. Lets hope other retailers pick this line up so it can really take off.Leave a comment:

I'd buy Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet...but I'm afraid that once I get it Home, and take it out of the Box...I'll never be able to find it again.

I think they had those in the 70s Filmation series too!Leave a comment:

I don't know if Mattel is playing with collector's as the main market is the kids and parents of the kids not collectors so at times they may not be doing what we collector's want but what they think the kids and or parents of the kids will buy. Of course I'd guess the retro line might be the exception to that rule but still I'm not sure if mattel is planning on the retro figures that may appeal to the kids and parents of them even with this line.I have been buying from Mattel for several years and I know how they like to play games with collectors. There is a possibility that they could be saving the best for last if you will? Only time will tell. Of course though anything is possible when playing the Ma"shell" game.

I would really like to see The Great White shark, but I am sure that would be a far stretch.Leave a comment:

How about the Bat Mobile Crime Lab? Or a better Batcopter than the "clog"? Or even "Storm" for Aquaman. I know he's technically not a vehicle, but he was Aquaman's ride!
