I don't recall Mattel saying anything about the legs. I think it came from elsewhere.
I had an inkling these would NOT be fixed.

OMG Batman looks so bad. Why Matty why? Batman was Mego's #1 seller and they treat him like this? He looks just awful. That removable mask is just silly and the underpants look like a thong. Really I'm so so disappointed in him. He looks like a bootleg version of a Mego doll. This is a shame. The proto underpants didn't look like this. I thought wave 2 was gonna be better then wave 1?

I like Aquaman and Black Manta. Sadly it looks like they have the same kind of leg issues.

so they are still bow legged and the cuffs still look too long. Very nice quality control there.

I guess it;s safe to assume they will be drippy and the bodies loose again as well.

Batman looks stupid. No other way to say it. Not only is the cowl awful but he appears to be wearing a french cut bikini bottoms.

Manta looked cool loose but stuck on a too small card not so much.

I purchased wave 1 and gave them a pass as I assumed the bugs would be worked out but after seeing these it doesn't look as if that is happening. Sad. Truly. I was hoping for so much more. Oh well. Maybe in another twenty years they will do this rigt and just repro the original megos. This line is failing badly.

Oh and Superman. Worst sculpt ever. Looks more like Herman Munster,

I can forgive most of these figure's shortcomings, but I just can't deal with Batman's black thong undies. This looks far worse than Superman's pink shorts. Canceling my preorder now.
