As for Pike, Paramount came back with changes and James Brady is working
on them - I always think of Ray Liotta from Goodfellas when I look at that
Pike sculpt.

I thought the first sculpt looked dead on, oh well

Thanks for pointing that out. He DOES look alot like Captain Marvel/Shazam. Now the only problem is how do I make a good Shazam.

Funny Doc should say that.....I remember countless times leading up to the new Star Trek movie being made, telling my brother that Ray Liotta would make a perfect Pike.

I totally agree that Pike would make a great Shazam! I hadn't thought of it but when it was mentioned I thought WOW! I will get three of him and customize one for sure for a Shazam. Vina is definately the worst but the others- the Vampire and Nurse Chapel are pretty good. I think Pike is the best though but it's close with the Vampire. When do these come out again?

That figure has been put through a wringer - the rooted hair sample needed
some work, but that's all done in China with pre-production samples.

I knew if we gave her sculpted hair, everyone would be howling for rooted
hair - so I asked a member here to root the resin head. I was not thrilled
with the results, but it was a rush job to make Toy Fair.

Yep, the prototype looks pretty bad. Definitely like the sculpted hair better.
