Well, I love 'em! For me, rooted hair is a must for the true retro feel - and consistency within the line (Uhura). Chapel and Salt Vampire are must buys for me. I really hope we get a few more crew members next year (Leslie!).

I get that the rooted hair is Megoesque, but honestly I'd prefer female Mego-style figs (Emce, Mattel, etc) to have sculpted hair.

Even so, I love the Emce Trek line & am thrilled to see it continue!

That sculpt is Marta, not Vina.

They all look ok to me. Of all the Mego-esque stuff coming out in the near future, these are at the top of my list (with Buck Rogers close behind!)
If Mego had done a Chapel they probably would have reused the Ma Walton head, so this one is better than Mego. Vina, when you get past the hair, looks fine. Heck,as she is now, she looks like a vintage Mego on e-bay.
I was hoping Pike would get a laser instead of the standard phaser set, but have no qualms with the figure as is. Even Playmates never issued Pike with the correct weapon...not worth the extra tooling costs I guess.

I have the Dave McCormick Pike and he is awesome, I can't wait to get this one. I always said that I wished Ray Liotta would have played a great Pike in the movie. I hope the final product looks like him a lot more.

I agree on Vina, but the others look dead on (well, I prefered Pike's earlier sculpt, but he's still OK). What do you expect? They look exactly like Mego would've made them
