I just pulled my GA from a cool dark place yesterday and noticed this on mine. I hadn't really looked at him since I put him away in December.

Bummed about this because I planned on putting some of these aside for my kids to get as gifts down the road. With the moisture/or whatever showing up, I need to pull these off the cards now.

All of mine - with the exception of Green Arrow - all touch the plastic at face level right at the tip of the nose.

The plastic on Wave one is about 1/8" shorter than the Green Arrow plastic - he has much more room.

This really sucks for those of us who wanted to keep some figures in the package. I was going to try and pick up a set of these for my nephew to play with, but now I'm holding off.

My second Green Arrow has the Condensation teardrop residue on the box.
I think the danger is very very very low.
its either a reaction with head vinyl to the bubble or its mold release or
    preservetive.

    But does/did it come back??

Until last night, the only one of these I had was Green Arrow. I went out and bought Superman and Sinestro. I didn't notice any problems with the ones on the pegs, but will keep an eye on the ones I brought home and take pics if I see any of this happening.

I don't have any photos, but I'll try to describe how it looks. It's not really obvious at first glance because the stuff is clear, but if you look at it with the right lighting, it's noticeable.

The figures touch the inside of the plastic at the top of the head, not the face.* (Do the windows need to be made a little larger? Green Lantern look the most cramped. Which figure is the tallest?)

Mine don't have the "sneeze" effect as seen in someone else's photos, but it may have begun that way, and then if the cards were stored vertically a short time later, gravity had its effect on the mystery substance.

What I do see inside each bubble are a few thin vertical lines of some clear substance. The lines begin in the middle of the bubble and then run downward for a few inches, and stop well before the bottom. (So none of the lines makes it as far as the holes in the bottom.)

I hadn't noticed a relationship between where the stuff starts and the head of the figure.

    * I'll need to double check if the face touches the plastic, since I don't have the figures right in front of me.

can you seal your empty package in a ziploc baggie, mattel might want to look at it

It will be interesting to see if any one else chimes in after looking at their empty packages.
