Man i sit here and look at these new pics, thanks for posting btw and i am just so happy right now. I am 38 years old and megos are one of my earliest toy memories so these have been part of almost my whole life. For years we have dreamed of having new megos and it is now happening right in front of our eyes. How wonderful it is going to be when i find that first one on the peg at toysrus.Comment

Aquaman's head is the vintage MEGO Aquaman head with the hair style changed,
and the ears un-pointed.Comment

The Mego face's boyish look is accentuated by adding hair to it...
in spite of the hair being more accurate.
Give the Don/Supes face that same hair and you'll probably have a
closer looking AQUAMAN agewise."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

However...I like Him better than the original Aquaman, that Hair style change is an improvement. He does look like a Teenager though...but it won't stop me from buying one.

Wow. That is interesting to learn. I need to take a closer look at that guy. Like all protos it may be a case of "I need to see the finished product" before I can form an accurate opinion.Comment

[QUOTE=censy;476207]I wonder if Aquaman would look better if the scales were printed in a darker orange, rather than black. It would back them more subtle and create a texture rather than a pattern, or print.
Couldn't agree more--using a more gold-orange, marigold-type colored fabric with the scales imprinted in orange would really look great, kind of Alex Ross/goldfish effect.
One of the FEW things I liked about Famous Covers was that their Green Goblin had kelly-green small scales imprinted on the lime-colored lycra--very nice.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

Has the idea of repro playsets been brought up to Mattel much like Diamond brought back the vinyl bridge playset for Trek? I'd love a new retro Batcave to go with my new WGSH!Comment
