Reallly dig Bats and Aquaman. Black Manta is perfect and the pic of Two Face is starting to sell me on him. Is it just me or does Aquaman look like Robert Vaughn?

I wonder if Aquaman would look better if the scales were printed in a darker orange, rather than black. It would back them more subtle and create a texture rather than a pattern, or print.

You know, the more I look at Bats, the more I like him. The mask mostly. Not thrilled with the Bruce head but even if they got rid of that receding hairline by painting it tighter to his forehead, I think he'd look way better.

My oldest and I were checking out the pix and he said something interesting. He said Aquaman looked like Aqualad. He said he looked too young. Like a kid. My boy is observant. lol. Right after he said that, I was like: "you know what, you're right".

I said the same thing in another thread. The black is just to bold. Dark orange is the way to go and making the scales a little smaller wouldn't hurt either.

I am glad to see these pics! There has been a lot of bashing about these figures, and I certainly hope a few changes are made to improve this line, however, seeing these prototypes better makes me giddy! Black Manta is a thing of beauty! I must have him! Two Face is also awesome! Both Batman and Aquaman looked good and will likely be even better by the time they are released. I am so excited to get these on my shelf.

Black Manta - Absolutely perfect.

Two face - Very happy to get him over joker or penguin, I'd much rather have a never-before-done (in Mego style, anyway) character, and he looks great to boot.

Aquaman - much better than the original, which is the whole point. Awesome

Batman - reserving judgement.

I think the biggest concern with the mattel line is they are not using the EMCE body. I think if Mattel did that most of the collector complaints would be gone.

Muscles arent an improvement. making the biceps swivel and the old"slappy " hands rubber is.

Aqua man looks cute. Cute enough for a grown man to admit.

I like the Ideal Helmet for Batman!
