The "Water"-gate bit is a groaner, but he's perfect as the Creech with those jowels/gills.
Not sure if a regular edition Clinton or Bush are being offered and I'm not hugely certain what the market is like for these kind of figures other than Robot Chicken type fodder once they are out of public spotlight. I know I see many of the 1/6th Bush figures they made in the past decade gathering dust. Monster versions do fit in with the ridiculous "has-been" aspects that inevitably tend to become their representations within the media landscape... (ie X-Presidents).
This is such a fun concept. I hope some tie-ins will be in the offering detailing the stories of the Presidential Monsters! A comic book would be a perfect place to start.Last edited by samurainoir; Oct 11, '10, 11:56 AM.Comment

I guess it's an interesting idea. I personally wouldn't purchase any of them - but everyone has different taste so I'm sure others would be very interested in this product. Seems like a risky business move (unless there is a demand that I just can't see here), but I would guess people did the research, assessed the likely market, and are considering runs on these figures that won't be too high.Last edited by Orion; Oct 11, '10, 1:17 PM.Comment

Interesting that they are mining contemporary figures like Bush and Clinton for the monsters rather than presidents from further back in history like Lincoln.
Perhaps the Bush as Dracula draws inspiration from Alex Ross' famous illustration?

Why is this even allowed on this site. I find it disgusting, to have a picture of President Bush biting the statue of liberty, it offends me to no end. Having served under 4 US presidents, that picture just makes want to punch someone in the kidney.Last edited by Zemo; Oct 11, '10, 11:17 PM.Comment

It doesn't appear as though they're singling out anyone, so I don't see how it's political.Everyone is Entitled to MY Opinion...Your's, not so much!Comment
