Looking good. Can't wait to see some more of the A-listers though like Batman, Flash, and Green Lantern. I originally thought the Atom was going to be in with this, but he seems to have disappeared off the map. );

Zam and Samurai are the best. Apache Chief looks like Glen Close. Superman is the most horrible misfire they should've never let slip. Really, a completist dealbreaker. There is ZERO Alex Toth in that sculpt. And the baggy tights make it all worse.

Regarding Superman, I appreciate the attempt, but if the final product looks like this, I will have to pass. No offense, but IMHO that head sculpt and boots are a step backward in terms of quality.

I really like the others, specifically Apache Chief and Samurai.

The lack of symmetry in the Superman face leads me to believe that the head was shrunk from a larger size and warped somehow in the process. Either that or it was pulled too quickly from the mold.

Here's what it would look like with symmetry...

Boss - Symmetry is what I was looking at regarding the missing cleft. If the chin was "split" in two, it would be smaller and balanc against the eyebrows. The reshaping you did put the cleft back in and created that balance.

I love the look of this figure. the only part I'm not crazy about is the belt hangs low and shorts the shorts above the belt. But hey, we're getting a Super Friends mego. How awesome is THAT?!

This literally a dream come true for me. Nothing but love. He looks ten times better than the masked Wolverine.

I'm not too worried about the suit bagginess. At least from my experience, all of the baggy suit prototypes that I received as a production figure, the suit was fine.

I'm not worried about the bagginess of the suit. The part that is weird is that the red "trunks" actually show quite a bit over the belt.

It gives a Captain Underpants feel to the whole character.

If it's basically a Challenge of the Superfriends based line, atom likely wouldn't be in it. He appeared nowhere in either the standard SF episodes (the five and the twins) or the Challenge episodes that season.

Still a little torn on the line. Unique characters like Zan, Sam, and Chief are definite buys for me, as will be others if hey turn out like those. But the Supes is still bad enough to keep me from going all in on the characters we already have a version of. If I could put together the whole team in the same quality as Sam and the others, I'd likely get them all. But that's not going to be the case unless they go back and start from scratch on Supes, which ain't gonna happen. Passing on him makes it a lot easier to pass on the rest. My wallet is happy, but I'm sad at that.
