Oh, I'm perfectly happy that they put oven mitts on these. They had to as the are "just like" the original Mego . The mitts on these are quite nice actually. Good color, the spiky scallop thingies are nicely cut out, and they seem to go on easier that other ones I have. But if a blue molded glove was available in the right shade I would switch. I've done that with some of my megos.

I have switched gloves as well, for the old Batman and Robin I gave to my daughter. It will be interesting to see what they use for the Batman 66 figures.Comment

I have to wait to order the three I want of this retro release until I have the $.Comment

That's right. Duh! They looked very nice if my newly jogged memory serves me correctly.Comment

Now if only we get to see what the actual FIGURES look like!!!
I called a couple of days ago, and they said by the end of the year, they will have them ready for pre-order, because they want to stagger the releases.
Makes sense from a business point of view; but it's like getting a Christmas present after New Year's and having to wait an entire year to open it!JediJaidaComment

I noticed these rubber gloves today. Looks kinda large on the figures to me.

Not if ya fix them.I took the large gloves and cut them down the side, and then cut the spikes out(there big enough, so there's plenty of extra rubber to overlap) and super-glued them back together and turned them into gauntlets. Here's the results:
