There's definitely a "goof factor" to Golden Girls figures that appeals to me way more than BSG.
Expectation is the death of discovery.

I'd be willing to gamble that 99% of the people who buy the Golden Girls will do so with an ironic smirk on their faces. The other 1% is probably toy collectors with a focus on television based figures.

I base my estimate above on the fact that I just don't see ReAction out there that much. Walmart hasn't carried anything past Rocketeer, Alien, & a handful of Goonies. The Targets I've been to seem to have a batch of Little China & 5th Element pegwarmers. Of the 5 or 6 comic shops I regularly visit, only one carries them and those are mainly leftovers from BTTF & Pulp Fiction. I see a few at Barnes Noble, again the leftovers.
I can't be opposed to oddball choices as long as it keeps the company rolling. This just seems like a lot of why are they wasting time & resources on THIS when they could be making THAT?

Plus Betty White is cool. I want a Password variant.
Game Stop is another place that carries their stuff.
