    I'm not excited at all.
Maybe I'm getting too old for these things...
And a voice in my head keeps telling me: These aren't the toys that you are looking for!

But I have a good feeling about this:
I bought some Disney stocks a while ago and they are doing great (currently at +136%).

I agree Mickey! The Prequels were 2-hour toy commercials! Disney Star Wars movies may be better with original cast back but I think only Luke will make it past Force Awakens as new Obi-Wan Kenobi. Harrison Ford and even Carrie Fisher may be doing this one more movie as a favor to George Lucas to give Han and Leia a proper sendoff and hopefully happy one! *Remember Harrison thought Han should die in Return of the Jedi.

I will attend Force Friday just to see the new stuff. *This reminds me of 1999 Phantom Menace GLUT of toys and figures price increasing from $5 to $7 with the CommTech chip voice samples gimmick! And Jar Jar Binks and peg warmers like Ric Ollie!

no interest in buying anything but I always find it fun to look at what they have out there. I gave up on SW toys after the Ep1 blitz

Will definitely check it out. Particularly interested in the Black Series 6 inch line at the moment.

I'll probably pick up a couple of figures, but I'm more focused on all the EMCE, FTC, Castaway/Zica Megos right now.

He will go well with my Old Man Indy that hasbro released a few years back.

I am excited about the movie. I won't dive into the merchandising blitz until after I see it (did it for Phantom Menace... never again...), but I am excited to read the new "Aftermath" novel that will be released then.

I'm excited to see it, and that commercial is fun, although I will be a total nerd and point out NO kids got Star Wars toys in Christmas of '77...just a cardboard envelope.

We are starving for a little Rebels merch. Otherwise we'll wait for the movie.

I think it's fun to get wrapped up in the excitement over the new movie, so I'll probably take the kids and go a day or two later just to check everything out.

Yeah, that's kind of how I feel as well. Not to be a buzz kill or anything for people who are into it, but Star Wars has just been so overpoweringly ubiquitous in pop culture for so long, it hardly even feels like a nostalgia property at this point. In all honesty, I basically had my fill by around '82, and have never really felt the desire for any more. The lower key and largely forgotten stuff from my childhood days is what elicits more nostalgia for me now, whereas Star Wars, while I was a fan, felt almost like it was being forced down my throat. Or maybe I was just a weird kid...

Is there a checklist of things being released on Friday? I'd love to see one if there is.

I am looking forward to the movies, and seeing my old pals again (even if they only have a couple of minutes of screen time).
But the merchandise doesn't tick my boxes at the moment. The look, the style...meh...

The only thing that has my attention is the Hot Toys classic Luke. That gives me the oldschool SW vibe again. I think I'll save my $$, and just get that.
I'm also saving up for a 12 back R2. That was my first SW figure, and it's on my top five wantlist.

So bring on those movies, but I won't be getting a lot of new stuff.
