Mattel DC club Infinite Earths canceled

In Hind sight ...Atleast Club Infinite Did Give me the Rest of the Metal Men .... I was really, really worried there.
I really think thats the Clubs Shining Star .

Maybe The Justice League International Completion Roster too ..., If Ice does Come out.

Classic Mr. Freeze (not a reuse of the Batman series sculpt. 70s fish-bowl look)

I thought the same thing no Chief or Mentallo the Teen Titans were unfinished as well no Aqualad or Aquagirl.

Well, sorry I upset you, but I stand by my statement. It was a great line, and it went on for several years, especially if you count the previous Batman and DC Super Heroes lines. Definitely the most extensive DC line at retail ever. Sure DCD has it beat, but the way those things fall apart you can barely call them toys.

I wish the line had gone on for years and years, and I agree, the influx of DC-dictated New 52 designs, and even pre-New 52 stuff like endless Lantern variations hurt both the retail line AND the Matty line.

I was glad we got who we got. I can't see the 6" DCUC style figure being totally dead at Mattel. It's unfortunate that they canned the Unlimited lines this year too, but I still think we'll see some of these figures somewhere.

This is more on DC than Mattel, imo. Originally, there was going to be a mix of New 52 and prior continuity characters, but DC wanted the mass market figures to all be New 52. Good branding move, but sucks for the longtime collector.

That being said a ton of really cool characters were made. It sucks all the holes weren't filled.
