I had to make a quick trip to my local Walmart and checked to see what they had. I saw the Movie Masters figures and some role play items. I didn't have much time but they did have the pegs and shelves set and labelled for more toys. If I get a chance I'll check again tomorrow.

The Walmart near me only had two of the talking plush toys.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I picked up two of the 3.75 scale figures. Split Cycle Superman and Zod. That's all I am interested in and for $6.97 I decided to take the plunge. For Mattel figures in that scale they aren't too bad. They have ball jointed shoulders and hinged elbows. A definate improvement of the Green Lantern movie figures. My Walmart was full of various figures and role play toys so it looks like they have everything in stock that has been released so far. I did see some Walmart exclusives in that scale. Three figures with light up features, one Zod and two different Supermans. There are also some sort of Kryptonian Battle Armor set exclusives one for Superman and one for Zod. A final note. I did notice that the paint apps were a bit sloppy on several of the figures. I had to check a few of the Superman to find one with a good face and chest insignia. Maybe it's just the batch this store received but I thought it was worth mentioning anyway.

I agree with you guys. I see the 3 3/4 zod and accurate Supes selling, but the plethora of superman oddities are going to be peg Warner's.

I like the rubber figures you can launch. Nice to see a toy that's a real toy. I could easily imagine Mego putting these out back in the day.

All the other stuff is kinda blah. At 25.99 each, the movie masters are going to be peg Warner's alongside the similarily over priced Dark Knight ones.

Where are they $25.99? My Wal-mart has them for $15.97.

The slingshot ones are kind of weird and interesting. I am really interested in the Movie Masters armored Zod, too. I don't really get the hate, though... they aren't Hot Toys by any stretch, but there's a ton of stuff that's much worse in the toy aisle.

Nearly all retail action figures have taken a severe hit in quality, as far as paint apps and articulation. The regular accessorized MOS figures are much nicer than most of the DKR stuff from last year.

The Movie Masters figures sold out at my local Walmart. Doesn't look like much else has moved yet.

Yep they're moving like crazy. I have only seen one Jor-El. Good thing I don't want him.

Though I must have the Armored Zod.

The smaller figures are actually selling pretty well at my Wal-Mart. I was surprised to find only one pegs worth out of three today.

I finally saw these at Wal-Mart yesterday. As I expected I was unimpressed. I really hate the movie tie-in toys now.

I bought Split Cycle Superman and Shadow Assault General Zod at Wal-Mart and they are both awesome! The cloth cape on Supes is cool and the fact that you can re-attach the two motorcycle halves is sweet as well. Zod is great too, though he had limited articulation due to the armor. They stand great next to the 3 3/4" GL movie figures and TDKR figures too. Well worth the $7 in my opinion.
