suggested price of 19.99 for a 6" non cloth goods figure
sounds to me if they invested some tooling in a decent armature, and spent the rest on cloth goods and good portraits, we could be at the 1:9 scale which would bridge the gap between this 6" line and the Sideshow/Hot Toys items nicely.

The first wave of figures seems a little weak to me. Another Sandtrooper and Luke X-Wing over Luke farmboy? They have to predict at least some resistance to the new scale and they aren't exactly startly the new line with a bang.

        This I did find interesting.

"The current "vintage"-style line of 3¾ figures will also continue under the Black Series banner."

I do really like those vintage style figures and was very disappointed by their earlier cancellation.

Actually, I'm quite looking forward to these. But, yeah, jeez, why another Sandtrooper??? Ugh.

Do you mean RAH? I know those SW dolls are closer to 12". These pictured in the previous post look half the size.

              I don't really care.
... Or am Trying not to.
I got so Much Damn Star Wars Stuff.
A Han or Chewie might be Cool...
But I love the Cartoon so Much more than Any SW Movie.
Unless they are gonna Make Cyborg Maul, Captain Rex or a Mandalorian Chick Warrior ...., I'll be focusing on other stuff ...

Now ..., If only Hasbro Would make Classic RAH Joes that scale..., I'd sell my Kids .
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

always trading for Hot Toys Figures .

That's great news, Werewolf--thanks for posting that. And I agree "farmboy" Luke should've been one of the first figures.

They are. The RAH figures are about 1/6 like you said, but the RAD are more like bigger Microman figures. They were selling them for about $90 here.

Hey, no problem. I'm genuinely happy for you and everyone else that wanted them.

SW figures in Marvel Legends scale is admitedly not high on my want list but I think had they started the line with stronger character choices (like updates of the first four early bird figures) it still would be hard for me to pass them up out of my love for the original Kenner figures.

Yeah, I would have started with Luke, Vader, Leia, Han, and Chewie for the first assortment. And $20 isn't so bad--that's pretty much what I expect for figures with that level of detail. I've paid that for worse figures that were similarly sized. I'll be picky about which ones to get, however: I don't see myself buying Dr. Evazan or Lumat, f.ex.

That's if you are lucky enough to find one at a retailer and not through a scalper.

I thought Brians Toys was a 2ndary Market shop ..., It's been awhile.
                              That seems Cheap.

they look like large 5 cut articulated figures (arms, legs, head). Basically what Gentle Giant is doing with the vintage line, only Hasbro is starting out with a Revenge era Anakin and a Clone Trooper. Suggested retail price is 12 bucks.

The clone will sell. Not sure about the Ani.
So, why is nobody trying the 8 inch articulated cloth idea with this license???
