I just picked up a Marvel Universe Spider-Man at Toys R Us in Freehold for $7.99 + tax (total was $8.55). The Star Wars and GI Joe figures were about $1 cheaper.

"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life." -
I can't believe I'm passing up this line, but I collect too much as it is (WWE Classic, Star Trek MOSTLY, Star Wars Clone Wars Animated Series, Dick Tracy stuff and DC Superhero stuff). I want to collect these, but they are pretty bare in accessories and as pricey as my clone wars toys.
I passed on EVERY one of them at TRU and Walmart the past two days. It hurt a bit...but it was for the greater good (plus, I'd need another shelving unit).Comment

I can relate, Wrathdemon. I've got a closet full of old Toy Biz and Total Justice/JLA figures just sittin' there... mocking me.
Still, I'll likely pick up a Green Goblin as I'm first and foremost a Spider-Man fan, then I'm done. Megos have (re)taken a hold on me like they did when I was a kid, and I'm having too much fun customizing to even consider other lines."It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. Yep. You can pick up 25 or more of these, & fit them in a Lunch Box. Thats taking up some serious room.... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.

The Fury files are a brief introduction about the character you bought. I am falling more for these figures, still sore at the fact the Hulk looks stupid. Thank God I have the movie figures to add with the set. I still need Bullseye, Iron Fist and Stealth Stark. Plus, it's a thrill to have other 3.75 figures rolling with these beauties. Always was a fan of honest-to-God "action figures".sigpic

I think they are fantastic. I dont think the price is all that bad either, if the quality is there, I will pay for it. Look at the Legends figures. To me, they are over priced and not worht removing from the package. They may look great, but move them and pose them for a week and they are worthless and wont even stand anymore. If the new figures last after you open them and stay tight, they are worht the price. Like anything these days, when it comes to quality you get what you pay for. I just hope the line lasts long enough to make the marvel monsters!LOOK

Sorry, but I can't justify the price of these because of the small size. Granted they look great but I have no plans of buying these.Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!Comment

Yea, they are too expensive. But it's a line I'll pick and choose.
I liked the Hulk! He's the latest one I grabbed.Comment
