marvel universe 3.75 figures

I love them all! The DC guys for the retro feel, and the Marvel guys because they are cool also.

Picked up Spidey, Surfer, Yellow Wolverine, Black Panther, Both Torchs, Daredevil, Punisher.

Me and the kids love em all!

I found a Hulk Today ! Man is he big for this Line... Very neat. Don't care much for the look on his face,.. but watcha gonna do.

On a side note,.. I noticed these are about 1 buck to 2 bucks higher than Star Wars or Joes...., given its from the same company,.. I kinda feel that they should be cheaper,.. I mean you pay another Buck 50 ,.. & you can purchase a DC Universe figure.

I picked up a Black Panther the over the weekend @ TRU was under $7. My local Walmart only had the new Wolverine cartoon figures @ $8.84. While my local Walgreens only had the comicbook Wolverine figures @ $12. I hope to get some more of these guys. But only @ TRU.

It would be nice to build the following sets:
Avengers
Defenders
Fantastic Four

But also have some villians thrown in for good measure.

Wow,.. TRU is price is a ton cheaper than Walmart...
On Hasbro's site,.. I believe I saw them for 7.99 ... which is how much they sell thier Star Wars & Joe's for... Seems like everyone else is a Bit confused..

i totally agree with you and these marvel figures dont come with squat! no weapon, no stand, no comic book, nada... no justification for their higher prices. they just do it because they know us suckers will buy it anyway.

Weird, so did mine! She was in Toys R Us for the first time in years (shopping for our nephew) and I said, "You are lucky that these are too expensive or I'd be picking them all up!" and even she said, "8 bucks! That's crazy. Those are so small!"

I love the line, but damn...I can't justify spending more than 6 on any of them. Action figure prices are getting INSANELY crazy. It's time, for me anyway, to protest with my wallet.

I am being VERY selective from now on.

I got both Hulks. Don't care much for them. Well, as far as I'm concerned, movie Hulk will be the one I put up with them. First, he looks like he's going to take a dump. second, he's not as poseable as the other figures, and third, frankly, it's just not all that good, this toy DID NOT live up to it's hype. Stealth Iron Man however, is rather nice.

Wolverine (origins comic figure) is a damned nice peice too. As do I feel rather gyped for the price on them as well, but I plan to get alot of these. When I get my Bizarro and other DC figs they will be in scale, with Micronauts, and other action figures. I love action figures. I have waited for the 3.75 inch Marvels to come out since comic action heroes, those suck poop ones from Toy biz don't count.

Hope they do Ares, and *coughs* Sentry.

All in all, great looking, weird to get em to pose sometimes due to size, but they look good nonetheless, cept for Hulk of course.

What dissapoints me more so than the price is the lack there of Female characters...., Only Miss Marvel is planed so far...

Also,.. the Wolverine & the X-men Animated figures are not that great too me.. They didn't need to be the same scale,.. & their lack there of Articulation compaired to the other figures kinda dissapoints me.

I was strolling through a Zellers store today and noticed the Marvel Universe figures jumped from 8-9 bucks a piece to $12.99 each!!!!!! Robbery.
The DC figures jumped up a buck from 7 to 8 dollars....but 13 dollars!!! Yowza!!!!

Well J, I was looking forward to a quality Hulk, instead it looked like they rushed him out, but the other figs, (I got Cap, Stark (regular), Ronin, and the Surfer, plus, the Clan Yadisha Wolverine from the movie today) look, pose and are altogether GREAT! The next one on the got to get block are T'Challa and Parker, I might get Danny too, he looked real good. But I love the movie Hulk figure standing behind them all, that Hulk is BANG-UP! Remember how big the Hulk busters are in scale to him, that's right toy-heads they are 3.75 tall. So Hulk and Abomination are supposedly scale to the regular line.

Carol? I love her! I can't wait, and agreed, where are the womerns?

A She-Hulk would be awesome, Sue Storm even!


Yeah, I'll be passing on Wolverine and the X-men as well, too cartoony for me (I know they are supposed to look how they look on the cartoon but still)
I just don't like how they look. K-rap!


But for the Marvel figs I hope they get down with Ares, Herc, and Sentry soon!

Imagine it Mego people, Ares and Herc can actually battle "The Kracken" with Perseus, Thallo and Bubo!

I think my life would be complete then!

Ares would be cool.... I was so stoked when I finally got all the Pieces for the Build a Figure. Surely the Best one from Marvel in yrs.

Anyone Find Deadpool yet ? ... He seems to be a bit Illusive for me.

I saw Punisher Today.... I think they messed up on him..., his head is damn near as big as Hulks. lol

Yeah Ares and RULK are my favorite BAF figures, Ares is proudly in "Greece" a shelf that only has Greek items on it. To have a 3.75 figure of him and Herc would totally blow me away!

My Wal*Mart has tons of the Marvel figures. I thought the Iron Man and Stealth Iron Man looked good as well as Black Panther, but I didn't pick them up. Maybe later if they still have them. I do like the bigger DC Universe figures and got my son a few of them. He loves Firestorm and Captain Cold, but Green Lantern is his favorite.
