This was my feeble attempt at making a bionic man as I never did get a real one.

Given that I was 6 or 7ish I will assume the action figure was blow molded otherwise how could I have cut a hole? And I am guessing 12" but could have been smaller.

So, what dude was for sale in Canada around that time that was basically a GI Joe knock off / cheap imitation?

I have no recollection on what his face looked like.

It sounds like it was most likely a Fighting Yank figure: http://www.thetrenchesforum.com/show...nk-60s-amp-70s

They had rubber arms with wire armature so you could've done surgery on him. In Canada, the 1st issue Fighting Yanks were issued as "Johnny Canuck". I would love to find a boxed example of this to add to my collection!

I also remeber trying to put a scuba suit on him from another one and it was too tight and wouldn't go all the way on and had to be cut off by my Mom.
    I do have a Sgt Mike: http://www.thetrenchesforum.com/show...-Sergeant-Mike ......and a Mr Action: http://www.thetrenchesforum.com/show...9283-Mr-Action

However on these 2 figures the arms are not rubber like Fighting Yank, they are a hard plastic much like a Mego figures body. Hope this helps!

I really liked that show when it was on. I believe it played at 1:30am on Saturday nights for a while in 1995 or so. Maybe the local station was trying to hit the after bar drunk 20-somethings. That would have been me.
In '94 the should've played it for the after school (college) stoner set. That would have been me.

Thanks. Those aliens are awesome I'd buy them in any scale.
This show looks like a hoot. Surprised I've never seen it before. Guess I know what I'm doing for New Years.

Oh! I know I've seen that helmet before but I cannot remember where!

Also, are you aware that none of those accessories came with that figure? I can tell you the origin of each of the accessories, and the figure, if you want.

Cool monster jiggler. Anybody know the maker or approx. value? I've done pretty good with some jigglers in the past. I've been checking completed auctions for last years and haven't seen another.

I've also only ever seen the octopus without the submarine, not this harryhausen-ish version.

I picked up this rubber puppet at a thrift store today. It was so creepy that I just had to buy it. Besides creepy, it looks so very familiar, but I just cannot place it.
